If you're looking for a multiplayer shooter that offers more than twitch-based gameplay and is not strictly focused on kills, then you should definitely give Battlefield V a try.

Battlefield V achieves a full immersion within the WWII phenomenon due to a magnificent storyline and some excellent general details. The multiplayer meets all of the expectations and in the end the franchise manages to stay as a reference in the FPS genre.

Battlefield V has the potential to be the best game in the series. It’s recaptured the magic of those Battlefield moments at almost every opportunity, and its new mechanics like squad revives and attrition put the focus back on sticking with your teammates. There are still a lot of questions it needs to answer with its Tides of War live service, and more casual players might be turned off by the challenging gunplay, but what we have now is a worthy successor to the Battlefield name.

Battlefield V is a solid experience crafted from BF1 for BF1’s fans. It’s a great start for a game that in the next months (hopefully) is going to show its true potential.

Despite its slow rollout, Battlefield 5 is a fantastic multiplayer experience, especially across the fan favourite Conquest and large-scale Grand Operations.

Battlefield V ultimately feels like a lateral release with little pushing the franchise forward when you judge it by what’s here and not what may or may not come.

As it stands now, Battlefield V is a beautiful depiction of an ugly war that offers only a few fleeting chances to reflect on what it meant...And then the bullets start flying.

The system of lack of ammunition and first aid kits is very cool! I don't understand the idiots who say the game is bad because there are women or black people in it, because they really were in world War II. The gameplay of the game is a masterpiece, and I calmly put her 10 out of 10! Hopefully, the developers will fix some technical problems, and then it will definitely be the best part of the series! It's a great game and an improvement over BF1.
No, it's not an accurate representation of the era. Personally, I don't care

This game though, has had me frustrated since the moment I’ve triedIn my entire career of playing video games, I’ve never written a review. This game though, has had me frustrated since the moment I’ve tried it. First off, I love Battlefield games, and have been playing them since the early 2000s. I know that bugs will be fixed and one will adjust to the new mechanics of the game, but personally, I can’t stand the new feel and layout of the game. I tried playing the campaign and multiplayer, and both have left me so pissed off, I had to write this rant. Aside from graphics and all that good stuff that comes with Battlefield games, these are just a few of my early observations and complaints. I can’t see enemies for **** They are so dark and hidden in every circumstance that I have encountered so far. I’m getting killed every two seconds when I spawn. I usually do fairly well in Battlefield games, but my first hour of playing, I was getting destroyed by players half way across the map and then when I attempt to aim, I see a shadowy figure amongst blackness and my gun fires all over like I’m holding a piece of spaghetti. Sure, people will love the challenge of aiming and moving like a sloth through the battle, but I like the idea that this is also a source of action/entertainment, and I’m not enjoying it so far, as much as I really want to. Perhaps I’m just too old now, and need to hang up the towel with these hopes that Battlefield will provide more memorable moments of action and fun. I find this game just overly frustrating so far, both visually and in controls. The ammo and health thing is really annoying, as the second I spawn, I’m instantly dead....ready to wait another 15 seconds, spawn, and run for five minutes, and then be instantly killed by the shadow of an enemy...is it a friendly? Or and enemy? I can’t tell, guess I’ll shoot my spaghetti gun and hope I don’t run out of ammo after one use. I’m sure this game will improve as time goes on, but honestly, this game put me over the edge like no other has before. Something about it, just sucks! And I hate saying that because I really appreciate the other Battlefield games. If you enjoy this game, that’s awesome. Myself on the other hand, it’s not working out. Doesn’t feel right and just pisses me off left and right. I uninstalled it and went for writing a review to help relieve myself of the rage. Maybe others will get a kick out of it and laugh it off like we all should. It’s just a game anyhow, but still something that could be much better and not so riddled with customization confusion and “realism” that doesn’t seem real at all. If you want a refreshing experience of a video game, play Red Dead 2....it’s slow paced and everything, but it’s been a joy to play in my experience. I went from that to this turd burger battlefield V. I’ll keep playing, because I’m a sucker for these games...but I’ll likely dislike it for a long while. Save your money if you haven’t purchased it yet, and wait until it’s damn near free. Expand

Forget about getting your unlocked weapons or gear because it apparently requires you to rank up during a game *and* completing said game. Well, I have yet to be able to complete more than 1 games total, rest of the games I have been kicked out to the menu with disconnects. So now I'm at assault rank 3, and doesn't have access to weapon I should've earned at rank 1. Apparently I will get the items when I rank up to 4 *and* complete a game, which is probably only going to happen once they patch it. Programming is so difficult, writing if-statements is so freakishly complicated. Testing even more so.

This game will be great once it gets patched. Right now? Don't put your money in it, wait to see what patches fix before buying it.

Why on earth was this released in its current state? I thought beta was over.

What in the world is this game? A joke. A disgrace to World War 2 veterans. I can't believe I got this pile of garbage. MicrotransactionsWhat in the world is this game? A joke. A disgrace to World War 2 veterans. I can't believe I got this pile of garbage. Microtransactions galore, same looks and textures from Battlefield 1 in 2016. Poor AI in the campaign which, by the way was one of the worst stories I've played from DICE. No interesting plot, no rememberable characters. Go to Point A, Point B, come back and repeat. Why support a company that does this? Outrageous that it's a 60 dollar game too. Do not buy, wait for a better game! Expand
